I´m really pleased with this sketch which I find turned out to be a bit more then a simple sketch.
Most I´m proud of it is because I didn´t used any guidelines for the position for eyes, ears, nose, mouth as in art books for portraits is recommended to use to draw realistic but sometimes those techniques just bore me of. It´s more exciting on a blank sheet to get thinks right without the logic thinking. Of course often those help/guide lines a very useful, too.
I started that drawing with the hat & his jacket to get the porpositions real like from the picture I drew. Of course I had to use my eraser to correct by observing the pic & my drawing but with no help lines :)
